Tends machine that applies latex coating to reverse sides of surgical elastic supports, such as wrist, knee, and elbow braces, to prevent raveling of threads: Fills machine reservoir with sealant. Inverts support, cuts excess threads, using scissors, and places support on roller. Presses levers and pedals to start machine that applies coating to article. Removes support from machine, reverses support, and drops article in handtruck. May tend machines that wash and dry surgical supports.
